I love it, but unfortunately, I just got a new phone(Z3) and this Sharp is just a mid range phone in its specs(not good enough for me), but Sharp's return to our phone market, is a promising one. The Crystal certainly looks and feels the part.
I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a mid range, Android phone that looks great and doesn't break the bank.

Just looked at one of those today and definitely am considering it...My only issue is that it looks so fragile and my history with phones isn't all that great....This year alone I've ruined a Samsung Galaxy S3 HTC Evo 4G and an HTC one.....

It felt pretty well put together, but it seems that you could use something like that.

I mean, if you're stuck on Sprint, why not? If they had for GSM networks, then I would've gotten one as a backup device...

You left out an important detail, first off it's a Sprint exclusive. That means anyone on Verizon or any other carrier is out of luck. Although Boost and some Sprint-network using MVNOs are carrying the device.
Also, for the price the Moto G is still a hands down better option for most people. Also it's already been updated (in the U.S. at least) to Lollipop, which makes it from an end user perspective the better option for that reason and that reason alone. Continued support from a known manufacturer.
Yes, Sharp is a name people recognize but their phones aren't. At least not here in the U.S., and that means they have zero track record when it comes to long term support (via updates) for their devices. You can't trust a manufacturer who's "new" to the market by default, they have to prove themselves first and in my relatively informed opinion I'd say this is likely a one off device. Something made as an exclusive to one carrier and to test the waters, but which very likely won't be followed up on in any meaningful way. Outside the U.S. maybe, but not here.
I won't argue that device itself doesn't catch the eye, that nearly bezel-less look is absolutely stunning and something worth keeping an eye on if other manufacturers follow Sharp's lead. It's just not a device I would personally recommend to most people and I like to think I'm pretty up to date on everything that's out their and their pros and cons.

For the price it definitely wouldn't be an unattractive backup device, that bezel or lack thereof is absolutely amazing. No GSM version though puts it out of the reach of most people, which is really a damn shame.

I guess Japan doesn't use GSM, so they didn't want to spend too much money swapping out for correct radio components. Seems like a half-assed attempt at entering US market though, especially since it's only on the smallest network in the US. If it ever falls to $50, I'll get one as a fancy radio player/offline nav device.

Had to check, sure enough Japan doesn't use GSM. That strikes me as weird since it's the standard of the world for the most part.
It really does seem that way, doesn't it? They pick probably the worst carrier to give the device to and for a first attempt it would have been a beauty otherwise. That screen! I'd love it if other companies followed that example, even if it was on a limited basis. Just give us one device like that from every OEM and then see if there's interest in further development along those lines.
I'm sure some will hit swappa at a reasonable price, well reasonable for those of us who refuse to have anything to do with Sprint.

I'd need to get an unlocked one haha
I saw something similar at Verizon, and itd be worth the money I think if I can get one unlocked.
